Hi BD – it’s still up for me, Latest Posts page refreshing and able to read posts from various topics, but it’s been diabolical over the past few weeks, but only intermittent like a dodgy light-bulb. If you go back 5 minutes later it accesses OK. It would show the old red page “Server/Runtime Error”. give it another try.:)

It’s a PITA. I’ve tidied the computer desk, gone through all the outstanding mail, sorted out all the old local papers and TV magazines and chucked out the re-cycling, now all I’ve got left is last night’s Sky+ recordings or daytime TV!! :wacko:

Les – do you have MM bookmarked still and have you tried clearing out any cookies/cache using something like ccleaner. A few people have had to clear out all trace of previous access to the site and start afresh. You might also need to “re-register” your password, this is simple though – they email you a link and then just use the same PW as before.

If the Missus’ PC hasn’t been used to access MM before you might give that route a try, just for elimination purposes.:)

Willing to constructively dissect any ideas, but I don’t really do the Committee thing. As most of us are spread far and wide, I presume it’ll be chat-based. I do better thinking things over as opposed to responding to chat – my typing is too slow and if I try to react to what’s typed it’s rarely thought out, just reacted to. That’s why I mostly come back to things after a short while.:( Any other bits and pieces like proof reading or similar, let me know.

I completely missed this Topic because of the way I use the Forum. I leave the last read page on an open tab, going back to it during the day, refresh the page and looking at Recent Replies, not Recent Topics. This is the same old habit that I use with the MM Forum, except there I use Latest Topic. It’s therefore out of memory which Topic was last looked at. Maybe New Topics could be highlighted – different colour font or bold – that way it’s apparent straight away. Just a thought – I’ll have another to keep it company later!!:):)
