happy birthday fella
Sad times matey, looks like you don’t need to go through your troubles, alone enough offers of help on here from people who care. Hope things become easier quickly for you. The hardest part with coping is reaching out. May I offer my condolences and also advise to take the offers of help even if its just a chat.
Brilliant news
Sorted it planeman thanks. After he said I wouldn’t be able to sort because I’m old (51) And haven’t a clue. Yeh sound son that mobo doesn’t support that cpu?. I would of let you know earlier but I’ve been busy sitting here all smug??. Thanks for your input mate
Thanks for reply Planeman he has taken all apart I’m going to build it up with him in a bit .
Government grants. Every landlord is at it. Down here they are insulating outside walls internally taking 6 inches off the room per wall insulated ??♂️ Bloody messes I’ve seen, gone around kitchen cupboards and sockets overhanging baths unbelievable how they get passed off. Electric heating with trunking running up the middle of walls. The money they are getting is astronomical that’s why there is different companies doing the same street. The people doing the grants £s
Don’t know if this is a day late or 364 days early. Enjoy matey
February 19, 2019 at 7:42 pm in reply to: Dealing with a Housing Association, any experiences or advice? #30936Who is responsible for the maintenance of the communal area’s? They are responsible for making the front door secure. Have you not got a residents committee? Maybe start one put some pressure on the maintenance company, threatening to withhold rent etc. Or if those of you who are concerned you could go down the mortice lock route, probably even get one fitted to the landing door ( though I have a feeling that would have to be a thumb turn for fire regs) worst case scenario you all chip in get a joiner to fit the locks for you.
I hope it does keep the speed up Dave. I’ve just added my other ssd’s ( for storage) hopefully my lead will be here tomorrow so I can at least rule that out before I start delving deeper. Alun do you mean battery removal as in cmos reset ( sorry if I’ve misunderstood you)
thanks John
I wouldn’t drive it either John, but one testers idea of dangerous may not be the next testers. Also if it was that dangerous why did they let you take it home? You would at least expect them to say don’t drive that mate. What did they say was dangerous?
If your not interested do ya mind if I email her ???

See come the end of the week when I’ve hopefully sorted the onboard vga out ( with your help like 🙂 ) I will have a little mess with it see how this mp2 thing performs. Seems quick to start but don’t all fresh installs?. Thanks for your advice so for guys
