Who said I was angry ? I stand by what I say though. As a public service user and local shopper I meet the locals all the time. I mostly don’t understand them but I sit on the bus next to them. I offer no proof so I sudgest a visit. Come to wembley central on a non event day and have a wander around the high st. If your feeling brave take the 182 bus to the local A&E and take a look around.

I am going to post on this this time because it keeps comming up. My home town is Wembley Middx and it has been utterly invaded. Figures for the 2011 census show the population is 93% non white British and the figures are wrong because you don’t fill out the censuse if your not ment to be here. None of the new arrivals have any interest in integration or even in speaking english. They really ARE just out for what they can get.

BAE Systems. Had to laugh a few years ago when their MD failed to get away with the usual bottom line and bugger off trick. It works like this. By hook or by crook get yourself installed as MD of a medium sized company then put your CV out. You are looking to get hired by a mediun size PLC that has not been making the returns its share holders would like. You take a 5 year contract but only intend to stay for 3 at the most. Once installed you call for the books and stop all spending on R and D. During your first year you announce a streamlineing program, make people redundent and sell off some minor assets. The resault is a much better bottom line at the end of your first year. In the second year you pull your master stroke by announcing you are going to concentrate on “core buisness”. This allows you to sell off large chunks of the company and having studied the books you know the most valuable one’s to sell. The outcome is a fantastic bottom line at the end of your second year. In your third year you are looking for a new job and you will get one because of your last 2 years performance. So you bugger off to the new company with a large bonus and probably a golden handshake to start the whole thing again. When your gone your old share holders wonder why they now have no company but who cares right ?

By the time I went to collage we had the TI 7400 series logic gates. Hours of fun with truth tables and Boolian algibra if i remember rightly.

My first proper broadband connection at home was 0.5 down and 0.2 up using a USB ADSL modem. As they gave me a static IP address I setup my own FTP server to access my files. Well fast. Not !

Ah yes Mr Ohm. Didn’t he date a girl called I V Whatts ? ?

On the question though I had a problem with a pair of old Boston Accustics digital speakers that had something “missing” after upgrading to W10. It turned out that although I had told windows that my speakers were only stereo it was still outputing 5.1 sound. My speakers only decoded the front stereo pair so I lost the center channel along with most of the mid bass. I can’t remember exactly how I fixed it but it involved pluging a pair of headphones into the PC and setting them as the only speakers with the main ones unpluged. After pluging the digital speakers back in and some messing in windows sound settings things started working properly.

Would be nice to deal with peoples needs right now and also start a much needed enquiry before marching for the government to fall dont you think ?

                            Sorry Duke Steam still  stinks.

Only wanted to continue my game of £42 Doom this morning and got Update for Steam. Update for Doom. Account not found.

After a reboot and half an hour account is ok, game is ok and now i can play again.

                            Rubbish.

Just saw your footer Rob. I would have got the same spec as that PC but I only had £350. Got an Atari 800XL with one floppy drive and 64k of ram instead. Got on the PC bandwagon later with a 286 laptop my company gave me.

Like Mr p above I dont know your back up program but i think you need a full back up before you can do an incremental back up. Could be wrong though ?

I have not used AOMEI either but are you sure you actually selected the file you want to restore before you tried to restore it ? Just a thought ?
