I am going to swallow my pride and get Bjarne Stroustrup’s book on programming practice using C++. Why ? Because much of the C++ stl library is written in C++ and I need to know how to modify it !

So far I have never heard a poster on here say ” You can’t say that” . Unlike our current Uni debating societies ?

All 16 year old’s have to do in order to vote is to wait 2 years. In theory no one even leaves full time education until they are 16 so at least give them 2 years away from an education system that is stuffed full of people who never actually left education at all !

In fact once they have had their 2 years of 6th form college and done a 5 year degree in modern dance there is a good case for raising the voting age to 25 for the same reasons.

Seem to have gone off topic a bit.

I was most interested to see that they are decoupling local search from Cortana. Maybe search will go back to finding local programs before you type the last “e” of .exe ?

Giving Sart its own host process is probably a good idea too.

Lets get rid of this horrid monster that calls its self the labour party once and for all. It has not represented any workers in decades. Nasty Nasty Marxists since before I was born.

My friend Angela just moved into a new block on the South Acton estate. The front doors are secured with door holding magnets (you will Not force them). Once you have been let in you only get as far as the lift lobby. From there you can only get as far as the lift lobby on the floor you want. Then you have to press the button for the flat you want again. Then you finaly get to the landing you want so you can ring the bell. You can only acssess the stairs on the way out unless you have a key. Fort knox i think ?

You can lock it at night and then only key holders can get in.

We will just have to see. We can’t see until we are really out. If it dont work the EU really WILL welcome our cash back with open arms. If it dont work we will have had only had a couple of years floundering in utter EU free economic disaster. Ask the public if they like the way things are then. Suck it and see !

And oh yes. They will be able to run things once we leave the EU ?

Seeing as we already live in a proper socialist country we could do with a proper socialist party. We have the NHS, we have state education, we have social housing, we have welfare payments. To many state provided safety nets to list. Now how about a socialist party that could actually run things ? Heck I would vote for them if they stopped being the home for the lunatic fringe.

I more than tend to agree with you on Mrs May’s record Ed, she promiced much but delivered little. However I believe, as VFM said, she is now looking at her own personal place in history, she cannot go down as the PM who defied the result of a referendum. If the EU fail to budge on the backstop then I feel that Mrs may will throw her support behind a no deal because she can say ” It wos the people wot told me to do it”.

So the Italians reccon they can get the EU to change its rules in a substantial way do they ? Good luck with that one, we can’t get then to move an inch. Not before the Brexit vote or after it.

There is a massive great blot on the landscape stopping us forming a trading block with the continent and its called the EU. Its their ball and they say they will take it home with them if we don’t agree to play by all their rules.

They seem to forget that balls are on sale the world over.

I quite agree Drezha but STRA represents an area rather than a block of flats. STRA mostly concerns its self with dumb a**e planning applications and street care.

                                          http://stra.org.uk/

At the moment STRA are supporting high court action against the secretary of state over one of his more stupid planning decisions.

Sometimes nothing can be done though. Transport for london were forced to declare to STRA (as the neighbourhood forum) that they had sold off all of the parking space at sudbury town station for housing.

Nothing can be done because the mayor of london has designated Brent as an area suitable for high density housing so the council must build more.

Web crawlers are definitely onto this discussion. The ad’s that Google sends me have altered drastically since I started on here. They used to have me down as a leftie ( I assume because I have lived a lot in Brent) and send me ad’s for the Guardian and quotes from the independent. Now they send me ad’s for the Times and quotes from the telegraph. I am also now getting direct mail from the Conservative party and Brittan First ( dont’t try unsubscribing from them, they just send you more. Mark as junk and leave it at that) although I have never even searched for either party directly. I also could swear that some points raised in the commons arise exactly one day after they appear on here !
