It gets worse of course. The council sends a van around 3 times a week to pick up the rubbish or you can pay them £50 to have your old matress picked up direct.

Where do they take it to ?

Well it looks like you put the stuff you don’t want in a bin bag and dump it next to a tree.

        Madness

You still have a local dump ? Brent and Harrow are trying to close their’s.

Still want to fine you if you don’t recycle though.

          How does that work ?

The Gigabyte BIOS will not do a DMI reset if it finds an old OS.

The other thing is make sure you only have 1 drive with an OS connected.

I will put this again in the right place i hope?

Try the reset cmos button if you have a Gigabyte board. Keep pushing it until it says DMI reset.

I have had that before with a Gigabyte board. Had to press the cmos reset button a couple of times.

Yep even XP  would like 1MB of ram. W7 requites it and at least DX 9c graphics.

We never say die around here and if you can up the the memory to 1GB or above you may get Linux on it but W7 will not install unless you have DX 9.0c graphics.

Good good. No more snipping. I am going to reserve my next post until the result of the EU elections. We shall see ?

You won’t get W7 on there either due to the lack of memory and the DX 8.1 graphics.

Not tried one of those but I do watch films with my Oculus Gear VR. It puts you in the font row of an empty cinema and you can look around at all the empty seats if you like. The only thing is it gives me eye strain after a couple of hours. Maybe if you could move yourself a few rows back it would help ?

The ceiling tiles deaden sound so they work both ways and opposing surfaces are surfaces opposite each other so in theory you should only have to cover two walls and the floor or ceiling of a room to stop it echoing.
