I am actually surprised that anything ever gets authorised on a Windows domain based network ?

Have a look at the link above for how Kerberos is involved with active directory.

Anyone remember when ISP’s used to supply their routers with no WiFi password, just to make setup easy ?

I have threatened to post a pic of the inside of my hobby PC before but the file was to big.

Now I find that since the last Android update my Galaxy S7 will not take pictures less than 3GB in size !

Only art historians and social scientest’s are more useless than the LSE

The leftwing tits of the LSE had all the facts in the 1970’s. They chose to ignore them and successive governments chose to listen. More fool them but stop it now.

U staples are mostly used in cable tackers. Should be noted that they increased in width when the industry switched from 4 wire to 3 pair. The old ones will pinch 3 pair. Not good for ADSL.

I have been quiet for a while on this because nothing of interest to me has happened. Now though I wish to point out to the arch remoaner MP’s that crippling the government budget is no way to bring about the leave disaster you predicted. People will just blame you when they don’t get their money.

If you do use Windows RE be aware that it assigns the drive letter C: to the normally hidden system partition so you can brows it. Your Windows partition gets bumped to D:

You really do have to use the Windows recovery options to make use of a back up USB created by Windows.

If you like you can boot from the Windows installation DVD to get there as detailed in my link above. The command prompt you can get to from there is really the Windows recovery environment. This is like a live version of windows that runs entirely in memory and it WILL see your USB stick ?

If its difficult to boot from a recovery USB stick directly then the above link lists a few ways of getting at it.
