A silly question – why do you need a case if the whole thing is fixed under your desk? Other than the PSU (which should be cased) all the other components are low voltage and just need a bit of protection from being knocked.
…swamping the courts with similar prosecutions of elected individuals which it is not in the public interest to provoke.
Frankly, putting aside any Brexit aspects I would be extremely glad if the case goes ahead.
There is one aspect of politics that I hate with a vengeance and that is the whole realm of lies, and dissembling (half truths meant to deceive). I think it would be in the public interest to have such action by politicians (and public servants) criminalised as how can the general public sort truth from lies if part or all of the truth is concealed? It is my honest belief that if TBLiar had not dissembled and concealed facts from the public hundreds of thousands of lives would have been saved over the intervening years and the world would be in a better state than it is.
Just in case you still cannot get the link to work, here are some of the 10 line entries for 2019, I gather you can delve and find the actual 10 lines of code. Normally these are impossible to read as they use tricks such as embedded self-modifying Assembler within each line.
…I can now even design an Atari Basic subroutine that is much like a function !
Yes but can you write an awesome game in 10 lines of Basic?
I would be asking for my money back after hearing the … More errrs and umms and split sentences than a sink estate!
He was probably being careful not to commit contempt of Court. Thinking about it maybe I should not have posted as I have no idea where the boundary is between fair comment and contempt.
A number of schools in this area start to teach 7+ kids the principles of programming using ‘Scratch‘. However it does not really answer the question of ‘which laptop?’ as Scratch runs on everything from a Raspberry Pi to a Mac, via Chromebooks and Windows!
Unfortunately finding Primary school teachers both keen and able to teach this is very hit or miss.
I’m sure Steve will know of better ways, but getting Google Play etc on unsupported phones has been detailed many times in the past. Using the apk route is the easy one – I even used it on my Kindle Fire. As has been said, this is all just a big Trade Negotiation ploy.
In any case Car Phone cannot duck out of their statutory obligations in that way – demand to see it in writing!
All the best, I hope they soon manage to find the combination of pills that fix your problems.
I know many dyed in the wool Conservatives in this area who voted Brexit purely as a protest against the way the party was being run. They saw Brexit as a safe pseudo-Tory party and did not want to give comfort to the Lib Dems or heaven-forbid Corbyn. They have now tottered back to their Conservative Association without a qualm as they successfully got rid of May and can now help select the next PM. Bottom line, the EU results are indicative of mood, and are not a General Election forecast.
Maybe Windows 10 was just being confusingly ‘helpful’ with an automagical setting! The last time I had to use multiple languages was in Windows XP and it looks like much has changed.
As I said I can’t see parties working together. Would the LibDems give way to the Greens?
Strategic cooperation between centre ground parties has happened before, and Farage’s party is a common enemy. For example I could easily see the Lib Dems not putting up a candidate in Brighton.
I agree FPTP distorts everything, but so does the fact that many used the EU election as a ‘free’ protest vote. Perhaps it is useful to remember the previous EU result where UKIP conquered all, and compare this to UKIP’s General Election results a few years later.
I wonder if this might be the necessary catalyst to get the centre ground parties to work together, as apart from a few wacky policies they all are in general agreement on fundamentals. Labour on the other hand are totally out of touch with the country just like the Tories.
I suppose I should have added the UKIP vote to Farage’s Brexit vote, but I did not want to imply that Farage was a party of Nick Griffin types. The press comments that both major parties were being punished for the Brexit mess is probably the correct analysis, and Change UK showed that they are just about as relevant as UKIP.
So far the Farage party is running at 32% versus 28% share of the votes in the previous EU election. What has changed is the switch to the Lib Dems who are up 5% and the Tories have lost votes to everyone. The UKIP share of the votes pretty much went across to Brexit.
Used engine oil was/is certainly a carcinogen but cutting oils were far worse. Anyone working on machining/stamping equipment unknowingly gambled with death. Luckily the guilty parties (mainly the additives) were identified and mostly eliminated by the 1980s. Life expectancy has also been greatly helped by protective clothing and good hygiene practices.
Unfortunately to judge from quotes attributed to our Intelligence Service they seem to have been bought out by US interests.

CIAPaypal donations leave no traces of their origin. In a way I agree with Keith – Hunter Gatherers in Northern climes had, and would have a fairly hard time without the aid of some modern technology such as rifles and wire for snares. Shelter would be a major headache. In reality I cannot see very much time for leisure for such peoples, whereas sub-tropical lotus-eaters are quite a different matter.
I’m disappointed – I thought this post was all about the identity of the rumoured off-shore PayPal donors to Farage’s election fund!
Graham – if you are really upset, complain to your councillors, organise a petition, and get the press involved. Councillors hate getting bad press and protests+press get them incensed.
Bit late now of course the best time was before the local elections. It only took a couple of local issues plus the National mood of course to wipe out a 100% Conservative local council and install a 100% Lib Dem one instead!
