As for your printing options isn’t that a function of the software programme and not that of the printer?

        HI John,

EPSONWorkForce WF-7715DWF All-in-One Wireless A3 Inkjet Printer with Fax at Currys for £169.99 and a possibility of £60 cashback.Does duplex printing etc from the blurb.

But not looked into the cashback offer. I have had 2 WF printers in the past few years and my current one a WF2750 WF model is duplex etc. and fitted with a CISS as I do a lot of prints as p[art of my work – I don;t use it for photoprinting with CISS though.

The are certainly fast printing printer which I need as occasionally I have to print off 100+ sheets.

It doesn’t say that it is a photo printer which I suspect it won’t be.

        Dave

PS Just had a look at the Epson w/site – A3 photo printer £350 – £600 didn’t check as to Duplex printing etc though.

Just a thought but COULD there be a steel plate behind the rivets?  I ask this quite simply because many years ago on CID I came across a double glazed burgled property where the windows were riveted into the frames and the burglar only needed very little effort to pry to window out of the frame. Basically popping the rivets out of the plastic.

Later one had steel plates set into the frame where the rivets were inserted so that the whole had to be prised out thus making it a safer and secure joint.

Last year we ordered a 20lb turkey from Bolster Moor Farm near Huddersfield, not the cheapest by far – fresh but I asked for it to be frozen to get back to Anglesey.

It was amongst the best turkey I’ve had – no injected or extra water at all and delicious meat. £70 I know but WELL worth it. Had a load of their sausages etc as well – if I have to collect a turkey might as well stock up too. Need to order this years tomorrow.

Ok you lot – there’s nothing tastier than a spit roasted old lag with mint sauce!!

and whilst you lot are being pedantic on my rather sheepish faux pas with the keyboard what about this:

” …. However note that their indefinite storage comment is based on 0 degrees Fahrenheit (-18C). If your freezer is at -10C then storage times are generally halved….”

Is half of indefinite – still half of indefinite??   ?????????????????

Some years ago, my uncle who does NOT like frozen meat complimented me on the leg of lag he had just consumed. It’d been in our freezer for 3 years.

I think it’s a good idea BUT those who are generally happy with a product / service / retailer will they use it?  I has to be prevented from becoming a site where any of the above are slagged off because of a single incident – too often we see here delivery drivers / companies being complained about – it has to be balanced and fair.

Occasionally something will go wrong and it is very unfair to pillory a company for a single problem when generally they are very good.

Thanks one and all, I think without checking he’s a ‘happy snapper’ – holidays and suchlike, don’t think he’s into it in any professional way.

He’s more into having a 2nd copy of his images which is why I asked the initial question – xTBs?  Obviously if he has a copy on his ‘C’ drive which is 1TB and gets a 2TB ext HDD there will come a time when his ‘C’ drive will not have the capacity to keep the same number of images as his external one.

I thought that it was now a requirement in all new builds and re-wiring jobs that all cables had to run vertically up from the socket in question – thus preventing a nail/screw shorting out a cable well away from the socket. Might be wrong.

I ended up like this with the walls in my mother’s bedroom after taking off some wall paper. I decided to sand the walls down and used a power vibratory sander – IDIOT!! Although I had sealed the room, it was a sheer nightmare and the problems can still be seen in certain parts. It took me days to rid myself and the room of very fine sanded pink plaster. Never again!!

In my youngest daughter’s bedroom we removed wallpaper which left us with the same effect as you show – this time we decided to re-skim the walls – heck of a problem in the aftermath clean-up. Looks great now though.

My brother and others I know have used this thicker than normal paint / emulsion developed to seal / cover over poor walls provided the problem is not too severe – he is happy with the final result.

                                          Good luck.
