Check my answer to Richard above. Iirc I edited my email addy and a link was sent to the new email for confirmation, so access to the old email is not necessary.

Doesn’t work for me, says it is sending the verification email. Last time I tried to cancel the pending change but the link was dead.  This time it worked but redoing it the same thing happens and sends an email to the current address.

Mine was real but the company recently stopped free accounts.  When I came to trying to change it I never received the email when doing it and now I no longer have access to the old email account.  If you are able to unlock it I will update it.

Based on what happened to me I don’t think you can update it unless it is a working email address?

I don’t know how you managed to get all that other stuff on to your machine. I have been using SDI for ages and have seen nothing like that.

Where did you download it from.

The download is a zip and you can run it off a USB stick as there is no installation…

A quick Google shows tech advisor so it was probably that I saw.

            https://www.techadvisor.co.uk/author/mark-pickavance/

He also has his own site with some micro mart stuff.

Mark was one of my favourites and at one point I remember he seemed to write nearly the whole mag for what seemed like a year when Simon was still the editor.

Anyone know what Jason is up to now I haven’t seen his name for quite a while?

I noticed Simon in computer active as well.

I think I saw Mark Pickervance writing for some online tech sure. Tech report maybe.

It seems Macrium Reflect’s free version is free for commercial use now as well.

                https://www.macrium.com/reflectfree

I tested the common free ones and found that Macrium worked for what I  needed.  Which was to do remote full disk shadow copies which I could then launch in hyper v.

Plus they are a British company I think.

Xiaomi 4a and 4x pro seem popular.

£75 and had band 20. Many saying global room don’t have band 20 so you need to be careful.

                  4x pro about £96

Cyanogenmod changed to Lineage OS now.  I haven’t tried it yet but I was on the last cyanogenmod for the falcon moto g and i had no problems.

It is sad to see MM sink but after reading the final issue it was obvious why I stopped buying it several years ago.

I felt it was never the same after Simon stopped being the editor.  The only part of the final issue I enjoyed was Simon’s last bit which reminded me how it use to be.

Also the mag needed a name change in my opinion.
