One of mine runs BitDefender Free A/V and it installed KB4056892 with no problems.

As a boy of 10 at the time I stayed with them at Tern Hill I was fascinated there was a WW2 static Kawasaki Oscar on display there and I was allowed in the cockpit.

January 3, 2018—KB4056892 (OS Build 16299.192) – just installed OK for me

– but there appear to be 4 known problems with it – see https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/help/4056892

Two of these have no solution as yet :-
1. Windows Update History reports that KB4054517 failed to install because of Error 0x80070643
2. When calling CoInitializeSecurity, the call will fail if passing RPC_C_IMP_LEVEL_NONE under certain conditions.

My uncle was a flight sergeant on maintenance of the Dragonfly/Sycamores of CFS Helicopter Wing at Tern Hill in 1962/63 and he was then then transferred out to Borneo during the actions there to do the same on (Whirlwinds ?).

Went to daughter no.2 in Portishead today, so on the way back popped into the newish Sainsburys there about 7pm.

Place was almost empty, more staff than punters ?

PDF Shaper Free gives you loads of options to play with PDFs

Latest version 8.1 added “display options to PDF viewer (form filling, anti-aliasing etc.)”

Otherwise LibreOffice is worth considering if you want to just edit the text in a PDF file.

Microsoft forgot the renew a file Windows\SoftwareDistribution\AuthCabs\authcab.cab in Windows 7 Update, that sets an expire date December 3, 2017.

From December 4, 2017 the Update Search in Windows 7 (and Windows Server 2008 R2) failed with error 0x80248015.

I believe they have released a fix now ?
