Well my Internet is back on. I thought now-a-days that it all would be managed by computers, switches and relays. Any how, being me and my love for old things I purchased an old rotary phone with the bells. Every time there was a change made you could here the bells inside ever so slightly moving. So I picked it up and had a listen. I could here them on the other end connecting things up and dialing a BT test line, and a little heavy breathing! None the less fascinating and comforting knowing that there is still people out there plugging in wires in some local exchange probably in Yorkshire with a Yorkshire cup of tea.

OK, well seeing as its only seeing my property and outside the gate is my property to and taking in the fact that the neighbors have not been home for two months I’ll do nothing for now 🙂

To be honest I think this as been livelier than mm was in the past few months of its days. MM was bound to be lively in its last few weeks. I compare it to a crime scene or road accident, rubber neckers stopping to get a glimpse.

Once I get the whole site complete I will start thinking about getting new users. How ever I’ll be keeping an eye out for the fanatics. I aint going to put up with cranks, not here! I dont want it turning into some of the flaming grounds found else were on the net. :negative:

I was going the hard wired route. Am corect in thinking I dont need a cctv sign up if its only facing on my land and can only see my land?

Is this price to good to be true, will it be terrible? Comes with 4 cams. I don’t need anything special with fancy tricks. Just want to see who is who where I place the cameras.

All they had down at the shop was a galaxy note 1 which was £100 and seemed very expensive to me.
