I was on the image on the home page going to put In blood red “Forumite, Come on down” and initially it was not going to be oh bother but instead oh boll***’s but I refrained. It has a few things this dosent and when I know they work I will move them here. Bit surprised the colour scheme was liked. I like it, its easier on my eyes to work on but I did not think anyone else would like it. And for some pointless info, it’s in france.

At that time mint was not in the list of supported Os’s and would fail on install and that was the work around. So no, it’s not over kill.

I just left it at that, I did not want to keep chasing it and did not want to keep on pestering you. Nothing worse than being the middleman.

I’ll clarify on that. I did not get a copy of MM. I tried and tried the email I was given even from multiple addresses but never got a response. I was at first told it was waiting for me but I can only come to the conclusion that some one did not what me to have it. Shame really, I would of like to of been told rather than waist my time coming up with ways to bring it across but now to be honest I could not give two flying ————-! :yahoo:

Got me one of these “Just the one for now” intended to see what the cat is up to while I’m out. I was also hoping to place one looking out of the window but the glare does it no favors.

Believe me I need something stronger than that after a couple of days with foscam/linux :negative: I think it’s this particular model of camera that’s the problem but atleast I have a work around, just need to get some PC’s with a little bit of go in them now as wine seems to slow things down somewhat and general day to day tasks are getting ever mire strenuous on my old machines all leading to stronger drink needed in the near future :yes: .

Well I tried everything to get my foscam working on linux, tried every feed/address possible in vlc and tried every bit of linux software out there, days of waisted time! I installed the foscam client software on my win machines that came on the cd with the camera and it works well there and as I was doing that I had some inspiration 🙂 WINE ! And it worked. Chucks an error up every time I start it but it does works great none the less. :yahoo:  :yahoo:  :yahoo:  :yahoo:

Ape, that is what ED I think was referring to. Maybe you have a few apes knocking about though 🙂 None the less, signatures are stopping as they are, put what you want in there as long as it’s not blatant ads, especially for ape brasserie .

After a talk with a few people I came to the conclusion they should not be hidden. I may alter them for better styling but as some one else mentioned people put them there to be seen, it’s not like there an invasive AD!

I use mate for that very little tool as I hate sleeping computers. It would narrow things down to software. I have not followed the thread though so not sure what you have been upto. :whistle:  :unsure:

You can set up on windows as well with wamp or xamp

No, you don’t need a server version, just set up a lamp stack as you say. Keep in mind though you will need to change the address of your wordpress install before making live on the net. Also check just in case it may cause problems that you are building on the same php version as your final destination. Shouldn’t make a difference but every little helps.

Thanks 🙂 It’s getting there now. Not had much time to do anything here since Friday but I can say this. I am working on something that the MM forum never had of it’s own 😉

P.s Thanks to all those who have used the donate button, you know who you are. Its been more involved and costly than first thought mainly down to me wanting things just so :yes:
