Yes also a big favorite of mine although I preferred it before the actor playing compo passed. There was one episode they made after he passed which I thought was great where they was up in there usual hill’s reminiscing about compo and antics.

Sure. I just watch them though to get out of modern times. A bit like listening to my Football on a sw/mw valve radio. Any opportunity I get to turn of the tech and revert back to a time before I was even born the better.

I have also been watching and recording London Burning on Drama and that’s been superb. Plenty of action in it but again it’s a little like watching a Medical program with all the injuries and so on. They did put The early episodes of “The Bill” on drama not so long ago and then it stopped and went back to the 2000 era.

Not dramas, but I have also been recording old films of Film4, things from 40’s on wards. It’s relaxing sometimes watching an old western or war film and often helps me chill on evening if I am stressed which is often. I watched Colditz last night.

Heartbeat I am a fan of. I collect bit’s and bobs from the program and I am building the box set up bit by bit. “Aidansfield Arms” not sure of it’s proper name now but a very expensive drink. I have been to gophland a few times and it’s a pleasant place.

The Royal I also liked but I am funny about watching programs that involve hospitals or medical theme’s.

I dont mind a bit of corrie, I watch the early ones from the 80’s when there on at 6 in the morning and I’ll tune in to the new ones when there ready to finally kill off pat. I dont mind emmerdale either. Some times they do some realy good stunts in it such as the plane crash, helicopter crash, explosions etc… I use to drink in the woolpack when I had a pub near there but it’s nothing like it his on TV inside, outside is the same, post office across road etc…

I can’t see that happening. If you was to put a brick through someone’s car window because the they parked outside your drive on the curb you would no doubt get a visit from the cop’s and I do not see how puncturing peoples tyres would be any different. Even with a sign up.

P.S, Forget the above, you would not be able to get your car out of the drive to go anywhere any how 🙂

I’m not to fussed about the snow but a bit of snow a stopped the bin collection last week and I will not hold much hope for today’s collection.

Not had much time to reply, Thanks, but no it’s not that Richard. However the latest mint is not offering me any drivers for ATI/AMD gfx and everything seems to be working fine. The first mint I tried “17” was giving me the same results as windows when I installed drivers so some magic is at work in 18. To be honest I think 18 should be offering me drivers but something as gone wrong and I am not complaining about it. ?

Yea it’s safe to say I will not miss 1 or 2 and I don’t need to say who they are ? mind you I know many did not often agree with tcook either but he spiced things up?

The only problem I had with Bruce was his messy desktop screen shots.

I can’t remember much about GG but I know 1 person here had a regular rant about him.

He should do everything possible no half measures. Yes WordPress in my opinion is the best way to go. Also I would put the website on the first to do list. Why! Well, it takes time to build up search ranking’s so it’s best to start as soon as poss. Once your site is up you should also set-up google local.  Post your site on as much reputable directories that allow your website address and do the same on gummytree. Personally I hate, and use social networks as little as possible but they are a necessary evil that often do the job. Start by joining loads of local groups and post away within reason. It will cost very little to do any of the above. It only get’s costly when you start looking at ad’s, google, facebook, twitter and bing!
