The double load has also ceased for me too. I like the new look too. Well done.
Thanks for the tipoff

I used the latest Media Creation Tool to create a USB memory stick to install V1903.
When I tried to use it on a spare computer the install was not allowed because an incompatible piece of hardware was attached to my computer. Guess what it was. Yes it was the 1903 memory stick I had just created. The explanation given by MS is that the install might change the drive letter of the USB attached device (the memory stick) and thus cause a problem. They also said they are working on a fix.
How crazy is it that the very same memory stick created by the Media Creation Tool now prevents the stick from being used to update to 1903.
To prove a point I have rerun the Media Creation Tool and selected to update the machine directly instead of creating install media and it is now at 78%. I will get back if there is any problem.
Been running a DS210j for maybe 10 years without a single problem. It gets used every day. Synology are tops for me.
Yes but you need to install it twice. It seems that this update depends on a .net update which needs to be installed first ie on the first run.
Yes.
Just select all the ones you want to delete by using Ctrl+LeftClick then select delete. To select all mails use Ctrl+A.
Yes I had it again as well.
Thanks RSB for dumping the moron.
I thought Samsung had decided some time ago to cease production of Laptops . Seems they have changed their mind. Looks good though.
Hi David
I think you mean SMB1.0 not SMS
It was me who raised this on 2 occasions before. It is still happening and does so on several machines and in different browsers. To be honest it is very annoying as trying to read a post is always interrupted by a refresh together with the side panel coming out and obscuring half the post.
Thanks for the info.
Merry Christmas everyone
Yes we probably could rejoin but without the financial agreements/rebates etc that Maggie negotiated back in the late 80s.
The RAM restriction to less than 4GB only ever applied to a 32 bit version of Windows. The 64 bit never had that restriction
Please send all my best wishes for a quick recovery too. Poor Bob has had a time of it lately.
Same from me.
Been there, done that.
Just as another example. Try returning unused unopened prescription medicines to the pharmacy that issued them and although they will take them back they securely destroy them in case of possible tampering.
This is quite normal. Although you say the items are still sealed there are some misguided individuals in this world who could tamper with the product and make it dangerous. Unlikely I appreciate in your case but these things have happened in the past.
Hi Bob
Wouldn’t buy that one, it has a cracked screen?????
