I will keep it short. First of all a belated Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year.
Here are a few answers to your questions:
Q: What Happened ?
A:The site vanished as I could no longer afford it. Prices went up, times were getting hard for every one including me and all donations stopped. I could no longer pay for the level of hosting that the site required and so on and the site was not being used.
Q: What’s with the new domain “www.forumite.site”?
A: As I could not afford to renew the old one some one else got in there when it expired and bought it. Its now for sale for £500. So that counts me out.
Q: Why Now?
A: A few reasons. I always use to work on the site when I was suffering with boredom at this time of year.
I also want to do a bit of blogging for personal reasons and projects such as my allotment and my wood projects and other little things.
Plus, I wanted to see if there was anyone still about to catch up with.
Some things you will need to know.
As the site address as changed your browser will not remember the password. This means you will need to reset your password. You will receive an email with a reset link. This e-mail will go into your spam folder. Please check it.

Welcome back, yes it is not an easy time, my spine is again in trouble, I am supposed to see a surgeon on an urgent basis after an MRI revealed ‘disturbing issues’. They did not want me to leave hospital 4 days before Christmas. Most of us have some problem or demons to fight, I have a few spares if anyone would like a top-up!

Devons and problems, possibly best not shared when I think about things. Still there is a New Year unfolding about us, with ice, snow, floods, cold and rain, on second thoughts, maybe that is not the best. Soon it will be spring, maybe!
