Have done the update on a couple of machines, and noticed that they (MS) have accidentally or deliberately nobbled the only feature of the Edge browser that made me very occasionally use it.

As far as I know Edge was the only browser that could stream live web content directly to any DLNA capable device (smart TV, Blu-Ray, Roku, etc) as opposed to mirroring the screen. This feature has now disappeared. You can still do screen-mirroring but it is horribly clunky by comparison.

Hoping it is a bug, but suspect it is deliberate, and another example of one step forward two steps back. You can import bookmarks now, make web notes, and there’s a small selection of add-ons, but nothing that would make you stop using chrome/FF/Opera – the one feature that was worth the effort of me launching the browser is gone. Won’t lose sleep over it as there’s other ways to skin that cat, but I do sometimes wonder what that mob have got between their ears.
