      My router is TP-link, my DNS is free from TP-link and if I want some sort of better DNS from them I have to make an account that leads to up-selling, like cloud storage. Anyway it works well and I have no complaint.

      Then there is the free and public DNS providers out there.

      Does any one bother to use alternatives.

      Cloudflare have caught my attention with their       https://1.1.1.1/       thing.

        Cloudflare’s 1.1.1.1 is my upstream DNS connection from my Pi Hole. No complaints here to be honest – does the job. I fancied using something other than Google’s and that fit the bill.

        However, currently away from home for the week in Devon and therefore no Pi Hole, so I’m using NextDNS.
