firstly its been a while since micromart so how is everyone?
now, the title is a little misleading as i have already bought a tablet but here is the story so far…
2 mns back it was oldest son’s b’day so we replaced his aging hudl 2 with an nvidia shield k1 and i have to say it is brilliant especially at gaming which is what he uses a tablet for. so, this month it is my youngest son’s b’day and he wanted the same but nvidia have stopped producing it and ebuyer have also sold all their stock (even though it temporarily said in stock and they had to refund me when they realised the error.
so i was looking for a replacement for his hudl 2 also and wasnt looking to spend much more than the £170 the shield cost. so i settled on the samsung tab a6 10.1. i thought that even though it isnt aimed at gamers it would still be good being a fairly new tablet and produced by samsung but it is WAY behind the shield at not just gaming but most other benchmarks i ran.
so, i am not really looking to send it back as he likes the bigger screen but wondered if i dropped a b*llock and could have chose something else?
