Times are obviously hard up in Yorkshire!.

5000 Geordie racing pigeons disappeared enroute from Peterbough to their homes in East Cleveland.

I remember squab pie being a real treat during rationing, but I suspect that racing pigeons will need a lot of slow cooking to avoid them becoming stringy.

Ed, overnight in the bottom oven of our Rayburn will make ANYTHING tender.

There is a Peacock arrived recently around here. In my opinion he would fit in there beautifully, but Tamara forbids it.

Above reply posted before reading article. 🤨

I put it down to weather conditions, considering it was a couple of days after the big thunderstorms hit us week before last.
