      I’m not sure if this is in the category of ‘We are Doomed’, or something that may well become the topic of the century over the next few years.

      Astronomers have just discovered a huge (~100 mile diameter) comet that will swing through the solar system over the next 10 years, and that should put Haley’s comet to shame in 2031.
