In the face of a horrific case of kidnap and murder, it is not surprising that women are both fearful and outraged. Even more so that a serving police officer allegedly performed the horrible deed. The Met’s Cressida Dick has always shown an inability to make sound decisions dating back to the time she gave a ‘Kill’ order to gun down an innocent Brazilian. Her recent decision to ban an organised, socially distanced vigil in these circumstances was especially stupid.
There are however a number of very worrying aspects to this case that still need to be put under the spot-light.
a) Why was an obviously disturbed individual allowed to keep his warrant card?
b) How did the police so rapidly identify this man as the perpetrator.
c) How did the police so quickly find the body, what facts have the police concealed?
d) What role did the second person arrested play?
I’m afraid that all these unanswered questions make me wonder if the Met are trying to do a cover-up as they used to do during the nineteen sixties.

Bet, Moscow and Beijing are laughing there slippers off.
March 14, 2021 at 5:08 pm #67946The Met Police are a bit rubbish but there are a couple of questions.
1. Should the lockdown LAW banning mass gatherings of ANY kind still be in place?
Its a complex question but the government thinks it should be so it is.
2. What do you do with people who break the lockdown LAW ?
March 14, 2021 at 6:07 pm #67947What do you do with people who break the lockdown LAW ?
You cram them altogether in a jail if they refuse to pay their fine!
March 14, 2021 at 6:13 pm #67949Thousands of people I am guessing have stuck to the law and not visited love one’s funerals or in hospital. It can not be one rule for one and so on ….. If it was a politician we would be up in arms on here in the covid thread. I am sorry, but I do not see any good reason otherwise. It is absolutely horrid what has happened there is no doubt about it but light a candle in your window or the like.

March 14, 2021 at 6:30 pm #67951Bristol, Edinburgh, Leeds, Birmingham and Cardiff managed to pull it off without incident, it’s called common sense.
I see they’re pulling off the old “if you weren’t there you can’t comment” ploy. I don’t think you need to have been there to see how violence by men against women peacefully gathering to protest against violence to women by men looks. I mean, it’s not like anyone put it on Instagram or anything…
