      According to German reports Windows update KB4592438 has a malign effect on chkdsk c: /f use with SSDs. It destroys the filesystem, and stops the PC rebooting. German users postulate that KB4592438 has corrupted the TRIM routines.

        M$ claim that a recent update fixes this problem.
