This is a new one for me !
I was expecting a delivery of 4 growbag trays as none available locally.
The carrier is APC and on their tracking we were stop 27.
At stop 25 the tracking stuck with the van supposedly 2 miles away from us on the A48 at about 12.25.
The delivery ETA kept going back, eventually showing a slot 15.25 to 17.25.
Now, nothing has arrived and the van location is as below.Any ideas ?

July 29, 2020 at 9:03 pm #60861I’ll go for either a cheap tracker in the vehicle (I have a very cheap one in my car, £2 a month, works well when you understand how it works) or a temporary loss of signal.
Could also be a an issue with the closest 3/4/5 G tower to the vehicle.
Extreme cause could be the van is actually in the water!

Off the coast of Ghana? It got there bloody quick!
I’d be contacting the garden centre – it’s their responsibility to have it delivered up until the point of delivery. They ca then put pressure on to APC to find it/send it again.

Tsunami permitting it is coming today – we shall see.

July 30, 2020 at 3:59 pm #60880Well the van still hasn’t moved since this morning, but the trays have been left by our front door while we were out in the garden.

July 30, 2020 at 7:29 pm #60887If you live near the Rifle Brigade training school they may be playing around with GPS spoofing. A couple of years ago my car GPS suddenly went loopy and inverted all the directions near a Fleet Air Arm base in Cornwall. I was told by the people I was visiting that this often occurred, and they blamed the FAA.
July 30, 2020 at 8:13 pm #60889They are about 10 miles S/W of us.
We have never had any problems in watching vans go from stop to stop by GPS, but this is our first ever delivery by APC.Never trust an atom - they make up everything !
