I’m clearing out my orifice and throwing out an old pair of 2.0 speakers.

They are horrid. Constant hum. Blinding blue LED. Draws 8W of power when turned off. :negative:

I need a new set. Any ideas?

      TIA.

I had a pair of these which sounded great. Depends on budget of course.

The ceative one are actually quite good.

They give a real crsip sound that at first sounds a lilttle odd but its obvioulsy a smaller sound compared to the real thing and so quite accurate.

I was replying to this when we had a power cut, switched on again and it recovered my Windows and Tabs. Hope it didn’t crash the site!  :rose:

These have been my speakers for so long, can’t recall when I bought them, but they are just as good now as when I first set them up:     https://tinyurl.com/kpw8qu2

These appear to be a later replacement:     https://tinyurl.com/lkmdd5h

However, nowadays I mostly use my Sony headphones.

Sounds like you have bigger issues than just the hum, so this is likely a wasted post. But for thoughs that have have an Audible hum a ground loop isolator will sort it. I’ve got this one for my cars “unsolvable” issue. Worked a charm.

Steve, The speakers are just carp. They cost about the same as your isolator.
