Sort of PC’s: Today I feel pleased to have managed to get SWMBO hooked on Windows 10, after yesterday and this morning instructing until my brain hurts and my throat is dry. She has been discovering it for herself this afternoon and all I could hear was “Didn’t know that!” and “Wow I can do that!”
This morning my new Crucial480 GB SSD arrived. I have a case for it and will make SWMBO a backup drive with it.
Later I answered her long term gripe about the state of this spare room/my office/computer room/family sleepover base. I stripped out the computer, a massive 8- socket power strip and all relevant cables. Bought a 4-socket Surge protected strip, drilled the wall and screwed the strip into place. Wrapped all cables and made myself more space behind the PC, plus enough room to get my feet up. Next two jobs will be prepare the SSD and find out why the Hauppage TV card has decided to die on me.
The 8 socket power strip is wanted by No.2 gson.
