We have noticed that the hot water is getting colder. I’m not talking about the ambient coming down the pipe.

I put the hot water onto max today and it stayed the same temp as on half power. The funrace went mad when I turned the heat temp to max.

Opinions. Or could it be something else?

      Its a worcester 24cdi.

Sounds like heat exchanger. Doubt it’s the diverted valve

          TY.

I noticed that when having a shower that the water is goodly hot. Could that be because the shower has a small amount of back presure?

Do a hand check for temperature on the piping when heating the water, it might help you pin down the problem area.

I’ve ordered a new haet exchanger. Do I have to drain the system or something else? 🙂

Before you get into serious work, check that the dog or something has not altered your hot water temperature setting or that your circulating water temperature has not been set below your hot water temperature.
