      This is doing the rounds.

I remember when crysis came out, it was Hybrid being: DX9 and C++ and later on it was also with Open GL. Well Crytek are at it again.

Wow. But a 2080Ti costs as much as the rest of the PC around it!

Still, give it 3 years and this will be mainstream.

You can get the demo for free as I have. Any thing resonable will run it OK, 8GB frame buffer card. You have to get the demo described as assets from the cryengine site. 🙂

I will give it a go when I get home on Wednesday but my RX480 only has a 4GB buffer. Will let you know 😁

I’m holding on to that last gaming PC I built for a while as it’s now turned into a Christmas present.

Off on my travels tomorrow for a week though so it may be a while until I get around to it.

The minimum specs for the engine are quite low, Core 2 quad, Radeon HD575 and 8GB ram.

The RX480 may do OK. Its amazingly well optimised, so much so, that when set to ultra the performance is so good on my system that it is easy to think that it is not working properly.

Min fps for my 1070 is about 40.
