I have finally upgraded my PC to the big leagues. Having for quite a number of years not really been using the most legal versions of Windows 10 (I should have stopped using them once I stopped being a student), with this new PC I figure I ought to do the right thing.

I’ve already downloaded a copy of the Windows 10 ISO, but I need a licence for it to properly start enjoying my new, much more powerful system. Where is the best bet for that? I seem to remember people on here were able to get them quite cheap off ebay, is that still the case?

      Thanks

Yep. I’ve had my first problem with a dodgy key (at initial activation) but considering I must be 50+ keys by now I’ll risk £1.59

Price really is no guarantee of service, either way! I always go for the instant delivery senders and pay by PayPal.

IF you have a copy of 7, working on any machine you have:

I am fortunate in having a grandson in the IT industry. Provided me with the ISO, installed it from Win 7 on his uncle’s machine and will do the same on this desktop and his grandma’s lappy when we need it next week. Have to think very hard about his Chrimbo present this year…

I was scrolling through my ebay purchases earlier today and came across the license I got through them. Still fine 15 months on!!

Good to see you back here. 😀😀

I do remember you mentioning those, thanks, that’s a no brainer!
