I have a Lenovo E50-00 it had windows 7, I upgraded it to Windows 10 before (while it was free).

I have tried to sell it in the past with Windows 10 not much interest.

I am putting it on ebay, but it has Windows 7 (not the original) it’s legitimate and activated. So on it goes as Win 7.

Should I or not mention you can put Windows 10 on and it and will activate as it’s stuck to the mobo.

it now has a 240GB SSD

      Cheers
      John

I don’t know what kind of PC it is but regardless personally I would take it all apart and sell every component and the case separately. You should get more money that way.

I’m probably in a minority, but my priority would be Linux compatibility.

Arch Linux, on a Ryzen 7 1800X, 32 GB, 5 (yes -5) HDs inc 5 SSDs, 4 RPi 3Bs + 1 RPi 4B - one as an NFS server with two more drives, PiHole (shut yours), Plex server, cloud server, and other random Pi stuff. Nice CoolerMaster case, 2 x NV GTX 1070 8GB, and a whopping 32" AOC 1440P monitor.

Put Windows 10 back on it and get a cheap Office licence and try and sell it as a capable SOHO machine, which it is.

Tadka’s idea of splitting the components won’t work due to the proprietary nature of those components. Like Dell, Lenovo have knackered the interconnects on the mobo to make sure you have to jump through hoops to make it work with standard PSUs etc. That even goes down to re-using the case – it’s difficult getting a PSU in there!
