Our Scouse contingent of Forumites will be well chuffed tonight, and so they should be. What an incredible, emotional, brilliant game!

Steve, I had the feeling this was coming, but I wished them luck for the first leg and I think I jinxed them. ? Liverpool did play very well in that first leg, but everything went against them. I think tonight Barca’s little genius was found out and played off the park, while the whole Barca team was also found out: beaten comprehensively by a much younger team than their average age of 29+.

Afterwards I looked at the BBC Sports website reports, and the comments to every event during the game. It looks like the whole country was willing Liverpool to go through. I may not be a Liverpool supporter myself, but any fan can recognise the effort and ability and sheer never-give-up of that performance. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Now go and bloody win it! It’s only Spurs or Ajax!

I expect even Steve’s Blues forgave his cheering!

I have now words for waht happend. But I have a hangover and I have to open in an hour!

I suspect the bule half of the pub will stay in this evening.

On the plus side the final is free to air, so I can show it and stay open. Kicked everyone out last night so I could go another pub to watch it.

Can’t afford BT. And it’s not worth it given its mostly evening mid week games. I don’t have a late crowd.

I think Barce have Suarez to blame.  He said before the coming match that he wouldn’t celebrate at Anfield.    And the Gods obviously listened and helped him keep his promise………LOL

I think Morgan was correct this morning and they owe a lot to that ball boy on the last corner.
