Has anyone got any experience with these? I had one pop up as my Amazon recommended deal this week, and was surprised at how cheap they are. I’ve got a projector set up in the living room, but it’s years old and was on its way out when I got it. For about £60 I’m tempted to replace it, especially as the new ones are so small. It’s small enough to take away too 🙂

No experience of these but on that link I got an option to tick for a 35% discount (applied at check out)…I didn’t buy it but tried it and it worked – brought it down to £40.94 at checkout.

I have no experience either, but a read of the reviews, including the negative ones was informative. I suspect that some thought it was bigger and more capable than it was while others expected it to have capabilities for which it was not fully equipped. So check them out for use scenarios that might apply to you. I could be a very cheap solution, but do you get what you pay for and really want?

There’s a 3600 lumens (as opposed to 2400) for the same price bracket with very good reviews http://tinyurl.com/y5og3g6b

Weird – I’ve been thinking about one just today, also. Could it be anything to do with the new FB ad pushing one of these?

Arch Linux, on a Ryzen 7 1800X, 32 GB, 5 (yes -5) HDs inc 5 SSDs, 4 RPi 3Bs + 1 RPi 4B - one as an NFS server with two more drives, PiHole (shut yours), Plex server, cloud server, and other random Pi stuff. Nice CoolerMaster case, 2 x NV GTX 1070 8GB, and a whopping 32" AOC 1440P monitor.
