For the past year or two I’ve been a big fan of the HP HD 2300 webcams, and granted, they are cheap, and in decent light, do a decent job.
On Saturday, I picked up a Logitech B910 for not a lot of money (£25), and I have to say, since both are 720P, the Logitech makes minced meat of the HP. Low light is just awesome by comparison, and both just work on Linux.
Now, I need two more, if anyone wants to send me one 😉
EDIT: I’d post comparison stills, but I’m sat here in my dressing gown, and it’s easy for bits to slip. So not gonna do that.
EDIT 2: OK, comparisons without worrying about my junk.

Arch Linux, on a Ryzen 7 1800X, 32 GB, 5 (yes -5) HDs inc 5 SSDs, 4 RPi 3Bs + 1 RPi 4B - one as an NFS server with two more drives, PiHole (shut yours), Plex server, cloud server, and other random Pi stuff. Nice CoolerMaster case, 2 x NV GTX 1070 8GB, and a whopping 32" AOC 1440P monitor.

March 21, 2019 at 9:48 pm #31976It’s weird that Imagebin errors like that – it was always so reliable.
@sgb101 If you want to see me in my dressing gown that badly, I can recommend a good therapist 😉Arch Linux, on a Ryzen 7 1800X, 32 GB, 5 (yes -5) HDs inc 5 SSDs, 4 RPi 3Bs + 1 RPi 4B - one as an NFS server with two more drives, PiHole (shut yours), Plex server, cloud server, and other random Pi stuff. If you ignore the bad gateway or error this’nthat and just close and re-open then it works.
