      This one had slipped past me until now.

      The French owners of the Atari brand (Atari SA) set up a new hardware division at the end of last year to develop a new games console to be called the, er, Atari VCS.

      Apparently they are working with AMD and have got as far as deciding to use a Rayzen chip.

      If the pigs stop flying long enough they are hopping to launch in 2020 ?

        It does indeed sounds a lot poppycock to me.

        Any Damn fool nowerdays can put hardware into a custom case and call it what ever they want like. ATARIsuckerworldexpress

        They got no game engine and no idea on how to make a 3d game. Sounds like a crowd fund piss in the wind to me. 🙂 🙂 🙂

          They dont have to have a new 3d engine. All they have to do is include arcade perfect conversions of the old games they hold the rights to. Have them as a free down load if you buy the console.

          But they won’t.
