Cymru!!!!!! ??
March 16, 2019 at 5:10 pm #31757Yes a fantastic 6 Nations all round, but especially for Wales.
The World Cup should be interesting ?
March 16, 2019 at 5:23 pm #31759Yes Dave, that should be a very interesting tournament.
In all honesty Wales have played mediocre until today, the first match that they have played 80+ minutes of rugby.
Apparently there’s no cash in any of the ATM’s in the area around the ground already. That usually takes an hour or 2 after a win.
To quote Max Boyce, “the air was filled with singing and I heard a grown man cry,
Not because we’d won but because the pubs ran dry”That’s unlikely but possible.
Have Scotland actually turned up at Twickers?
March 16, 2019 at 5:36 pm #31761Great win for Wales and winning the Grand Slam will boost them for the World Cup. I will have bragging rights over my Scots great nephew, looks like. England buldozing them into the Twickers turf.
Might have cause to regret these words, later.

I'm out.March 16, 2019 at 5:42 pm #31764Nah, it’s averaging a point a minute at the moment.
March 16, 2019 at 5:48 pm #31765Dave, shocking English play. ?
March 16, 2019 at 6:12 pm #31768Nolan, looks like (might be) a double Welsh celebration: Swansea 2-0 up vs. Man City in the round ball game!
Long way to go yet though.

I'm out.March 16, 2019 at 6:21 pm #31769Blimey it’s just turned around to Scotland scoring a point a minute plus! Only 7 in it.
March 16, 2019 at 6:33 pm #31771If anyone put a lump of £ on that score, fair play to them.
Scotland were due a proper game and by heck have they turned up in the second half!
Bob, don’t have a clue about the round ball, only when CCFC are playing at home so I know I have to be parked up before the gits with £50K + motors try and park in my cul- de- sac in instead of paying £5 for proper parking………
March 16, 2019 at 6:34 pm #31772I dipped in to this thread, and read ‘a PINT a minute’, and I thought yes that is about the going rate for The Angel, or was the last time I witnessed Wales grab the Triple Crown at the old Arms Park ground.?
March 16, 2019 at 6:38 pm #31773Watched it round spoonies. No drinking coffee. On the Razz tonight. Fantastic game.
March 16, 2019 at 6:53 pm #31774WTF! Unbelievable. Just as well I’m not drinking today.
March 16, 2019 at 7:03 pm #31776Fair play to Scotland. Hell of a second half.
Why couldn’t they have done that all tournament?
World cup should be epic.
Ed, the Arms Park is the whole site of the Cardiff Blues and Cardiff rugby ground, the Millennium Stadium and the parking, what there is.
The Blues and Cardiff site is apparently looking to be updated, it’s a little older than me.
Used to have a mate that worked in the Angel, something like bar and hospitality manager, whatever that means. Could always get a few drinks gratis on a match day. I paid him back many times with lifts when i couldn’t drink.
March 16, 2019 at 11:07 pm #31791Well I was well wrong twice! The Scots fought like tigers in that second half and really deserved to win, but fair play to England for forcing a late draw.
Nolan I may have put the mockers on Swansea but I don’t think you care too much about Swansea or the round ball game anyway, do you?
Comeback Day in both games, now Man United have just been knocked out of the FA cup by a much better team. Only one set of Manc’s to deal with now.

I'm out.March 17, 2019 at 10:39 am #31800Bob, football does nothing for me.
I was forced to play it at school and that killed it for me.
Last time I was in Swansea was about 24 years ago at the uni, getting kicked out for skateboarding. I believe most of Swansea is much nicer than it used to be.
March 17, 2019 at 11:52 am #31806True there is a Welsh ball shape divide, but I have witnessed the effect on a footie ground when the news comes in that the Welsh rugby team has pulled something off. The ground becomes full of hwyl, and the home team starts lifting its game especially if the opposition is English. Maybe this was the initial effect on Swansea, it lasted long enough to force on Aguero who was otherwise going to be rested.
