I have been playing the new TR shodow of since xmas day.

Regardless of what it says on the web that is detromental I can honestly say that it is on par with the best tomb ever: TR3, Ironically this is TR3 of the reboot and the game is in the jungle again. Hmmm. Resorce wize this up to date patched version DX12 is less demanding than it predicessor ROTTR and looks significantly better. How they do the lighting in the tombs is the stuff of dreams. as is the eyecndy thorugh out.

Again like the original TR3 this game is massive of many hours.

      Dont miss thsi one. 🙂

Nice review, but it would be even better if it was in the Gaming forum.

ROTR rather than SOTR but still Crystal Dynamics so you may be interested in this technical review of what goes on behind the scenes in the rendering engine.  (Link to The Code Corsair)

ryeah goodly read. Reading in bite sizes to absorb better. The game engine was apparently maxed out for SOTTR.

New engine to be developed then. Any way in the new game they use mud deformation. Most affective eye candy. The article explains well and yes you can actually see that the shadow atlas is 16bit. Finished the main campaign to day with a classic boss fight at the end.
