Mostly the same as last year, Heather is still fine. Few text messages exchanged. Thought some would like to know.

Not sure, I’m also shocking at dates. And street names. They just don’t stick in my head.
January 1, 2019 at 7:08 pm #29573Speculating, I would have said about 5 years now – MM disappeared 2 years ago and it was a while before that.
January 1, 2019 at 7:11 pm #29574Peoples names is where my mind fails me, everytime. I was always good with street names until I moved to Wales! Been in my current house 13 years, and still only know a handful of the street names around me!
For some reason they are all in some strange language. Love Wales really.

Just gone, along with the other 47!!
I was 20 when life last felt it was just ticking over. Finished my apprenticeship at the GPO and just about to move into my first flat. Then it was skating Saturdays till 10.30, Wimpy Bar or Golden Egg for supper, midnight movies at the Odeon and back to the flat for a party till Sunday morning. Wimpy Bar for breakfast and wine bar for lunch, bed by 10 ready for work on Monday.
Nostalgia – it’s not what it used to be.???
January 1, 2019 at 8:02 pm #29577This is about the only 2 weeks of trh year that time seems to drag. The rest of it seems to pass me by.
Life seems to be an endless list of goals, everytime you reach one (or fail), the next one starts. Life just carrys on around them.
Sounds like somthing of a headstone that.
January 2, 2019 at 12:08 pm #29583I must have missed Spike by a few months, sounds like he was one of the Good Guys.
I want my headstone to read like Spike Mulligan’s wish for his: “I told you I was ill!”
Family don’t like it.

Above the neck I am still 18, but the rest has lagged behind, most severely. (Some of it has even gone missing)
You know you have never grown up when your wife and kids criticize almost every decision and/or plan you make. Especially when the grandkids think your ideas are ‘cool’.

I'm out.January 2, 2019 at 1:37 pm #29589Believe it or not, it’s been almost nine years! I posted on a folding forum at the time to pass on the news, and I’ve just found the thread

As an aside, the MicroMart team racked up just shy of 1.5 BILLION points! That’s an impressive amount, and something we should all be proud of ?
