      (Not mine) – spotted from Cleethorpes Pier. I honestly thought the guy was going to cry.

      Tide was coming in fast, as it does there. Felt bad for him, dropping your phone on concrete is one thing, but losing it in the North Sea is another kettle of fish. So to speak.

        Dropped mine into the water by a waterfall in Thailand. It was the ‘Matrix’ Nokia 7110. Leaning over a balustrade to take a photo with the camera and as I did, it slippped out of my shirt pocket. I looked down and watched it fall 15 to 20 feet, bouncing off the rocks and then splashed into a rock pool.

        That was one interesting insurance form, as was the conversation with the Tourist Police to get the “Crime” number the insurance company wanted!!
