Heverlee beer @ Tescos

In Tescos this afternoon and noticed something I’d not seen before, Heverlee beer. Heverlee is a suburb of Leuven – the home of Stella Artios – and Belgians often name their beer after where it’s brewed, such as Hoegaarden or Grimbergen. There’s also an Abbey there (Belgian Abbey beers are legendary). It’s the ultimate destination of the bus we get from the station to our hotel when staying in Leuven.

It’s marked a “Premium Belgian Beer”, must be worth a pop.

It’s shite. Also it’s brewed in Tipperary.
