Yesterday I was on the hunt for my 64GB micro sd card, wasn’t sure if it was in my helmet cam, lent to mum or in one of my old phones.

Tried to extract the micro sd from my helmet cam and this happened.

Bad enough to have a knackered 32GB card but even worse it took over an hour to remove the remains. With ruined joints it was no fun.

S**t happens when you least expect it, when it will cause the greatest hassle, when you are no longer able to defeat s**t as easily as you once could, Nolan.

Similar happened to me, trying to remove an incorrectly-installed CD from a neighbour’s desktop, with my dysfunctional hands. It shattered and I wound up stripping the tower to remove the bits. Thus relearning the fact that broken CD’s have sharp edges. A-Rhesus Negative all over the PC.

Not doing that again, thank you!

That was   major downer, I know what you mean about hands that do not go where you want them to go and never with the care and gentleness you need. An injection in my left worked for a while but recently I can see it slipping back into trigger finger status when it just locks up a finger or two so they are not like the grand old Duke of York, they won’t go up or down.

Those cards always look about to break, but I have not had one go yet, but getting them into some of the mounting slots in some devices is a total pain. Once stressed they will go when provoked, sorry, but well done for succeeding in the end.
