These are a few of the Classic cars at the Show organised by my lad, Saltfleet, Nr. Mablethorpe.

      A beautiful ’68 Mustang Fastback –

An MG GT with a 3 liter Austin-Healey engine, making it an MGC GT. Couldn’t find the owner, but that engine must have been shoe-horned in, it only just fits.

      See what I mean?

A nice Ford Granada 3.0 ltr. Fastback, the Dagenham Ford iron block V6, I had one of these once:

This was on the edge of the showground, my lad set this show up with Stationary Engines and all kinds of entertainment, food and drink. It was a test for another in the summer and made a healthy profit for the club. The farmer who owns the ground, wants to involve other local farmers and businesses for the Summer Show, with a Farmer’s Market. I think my lad has found his vocation, in his 50th year!

      I'm out.

Bob, that looks like a good success so well done. Event do take a lot of planning and hard work what with insurance and all sorts of other issues.

              Oh that mustang. ❤

Yes I know! Saw it across the other side of the field and as I got closer I fell in love with it myself.

It hasn’t changed my old wish for a 2door Pontiac GTO coupe, but it’s close. I’m not a big lover of Yank Tanks, they have to have clean lines and look neat, no massive fins, not drive like a barge on wheels.

What the GTO the firebird. I also love them.

I too don’t like the previous gen (50s)amerian stuff. Last summer at a classic show wether was a 50s caddy. I’ve never seen a car so long. It’s was mental. Also bright pink.

Something like this, but I saw one in the metal years ago, a hard top 2 door, Cream paint, Gold velour interior. Clean lines, I loved it and wanted it.

                  Doors like barn doors!
