These days companys tend to stear away from direct online help and you have to use Facebook or Twitter.

In Facebook Messenger I have old messages ie to Sky (help), each time I want to create a new message all the old messages are there.

How can I delete previous messages and start with a clean page.

I think it’s the same on Twitter as well?

      Cheers
      John

In fb msg long press the message thread and you get a list of options. On desktop the will be some type of select box, as right click would just bring up the browser options.

I don’t use FB msg on a desktop top so can’t be more presice. But on mobile/tablet. Just long press. Though if it was me, I’d just just the old msg thread to carry on. I do this quite often with customer service  emails.

Long left click wouldn’t work.on a desktop browser. (maybe try mobile view, may work, or install fb messenger on a phone or tablet)

I only use it on android (rarely) so I’ll bow out. It will be one of though obvious answers, that once you know you’ll wonder how you never figured it out. I’m forever having to look up things, to find the answers was right in front of me the when time.

On the PC, open Facebook, then click Messenger on the left hand side. Select the conversation that you want to delete. On the right hand side where the contact name is, click the cog and select Delete from the drop down menu. This will delete the entire conversation.
