It’s remarkable he lasted as long as he did, many people with motor neuron disease die very young.

Still a great loss though, A Brief History Of Time is a book I’ve read many times and keep meaning to get a more recent version, mine is the original now out of date, one.

He will be regarded as one of the finest minds to come from Britain, if not the finest. He will also be noted for his sense of fun and dry humour: appearing on The Simpsons, Sheldon of the Big Bang theory saying “It is an honour to meet you” and Sir Stephen saying “I know.”

After Doddy passing yesterday, there ought to be some fun & games Up There. You can’t really mourn for these guys, you can only celebrate the time we had them with us.

Amazing he lived so long. Still a real shame, what he lacked in body, she sure made up wish his mind.

Also Jim Bowen went today. Seen some of his old standup over xmas, I never realised how funny he was. Though his comedy is defo of its time.

Agree with all the above, but he also had a strong sense of humour; in pleasant contrast to  Richard Dawkins who takes himself far too seriously.

I liked this one where Jim Bowen talked about an unaired Bullseye episode.

When I went on my JB you tube adventure over Xmas, that was the first one I was linked too. Was it you that posted it? As i can’t remember how my adventure got started. I may of stumbled across it, as you do when you go down the yt rabbit hole, but that would be one big coincidence.
