      We have lost a comedy legend. I have laughed at Doddy’s surreal antics over several decades, from the first time I saw him as a child on Central Pier at Blackpool. If there really is a Heaven, try to imagine Doddy and Tommy Cooper together.

      Today the UK lost a legend and Liverpool lost its greatest ambassador.

        I’m with you there in both cases. They put some of today’s smutty so called comedians to shame.

          Bob 100% spot on.  We have lost a true legend of comedy and if there is a Heaven, I’m sure by now all there, angels et all, are doubled up with mirth.

          RIP Ken Dodd – may you be as funny in the afterlife as you were in the real one.

              He did give much more VFM than other comedians and entertainers Wasbit, you’re right. Doddy’s problem was that he could not get HMRC to understand that he thought he should keep all of the money he gave so much value for!

                They changed the scheduled programmes on two channels tonight to feature Doddy. For once the change worked in my favour. I don’t know why I find him funny, I just do. At least he got his well deserved knighthood.
