There is a very happy Steve tonight and a seriously chuffed BL after yesterday’s results. Me? I support a team of kids and you know what kids are like!
I like this TV quote from Jurgen Klopp though “We have to be consistent because we are Liverpool.” Maybe Bill Shankly would have smiled and agreed that the German gets it!
It’s almost Christmas and the top teams are pulling away as usual, but what happened to Spurs? Harry Kane making very bad foul tackles, should have been red-carded, Alli losing it. Missing Kyle Walker IMO, his crosses and defending were class yesterday.

I'm out.December 17, 2017 at 9:46 pm #14444Sadly I was at the game on Wednesday , and us playing like this today make it even more annoying a night.
Also atm I’m in the flicks just over an hour into the new star wars, its a pile of poo, that’s cost me just shy of £30 for the boy and me.
The footy was good though.
December 18, 2017 at 5:23 am #14445Yeah pleasantly surprised Saturday Bob. I found a means of watching the match (cough) – and thought we were excellent, fully worth the points – and that Arnautovich can really play (when he feels like it). Match was delayed an hour (or 2 pints on) due to a power cut in Stoke – my mate went up on the club coaches so was OK, I bet a lot of others had grief with pre-booked trains and spent the journey home swerving the ticket inspectors.
Didn’t see any of the other matches, but looks like Mr Moyes is making a real positive impact and have to give him credit for that – 7 points out of 9 including games against Chelsea and Arsenal. We have a run of “better” fixtures in the new year that could see us pull a little clear – or get right back in the mire – who knows! Arsenal away in the League Cup tomorrow – Geordies at

I liked the first couple of films, then for me it all got samey. That’s what happens in Movieland, ‘sequels’ ‘prequels’ and all that repetitive krap. Watching some of the football played by your lot was mesmerising at times. Bournemouth, a very organised team usually, looked like rabbits in the headlights I thought. The only criticism I have is, why so few goals? I thought they were going to get a cricket score.
BL, yours look like a different team under Moyes. I recall some time back saying that he is a good manager, obviously looking for the right club, as was Arnautovich. Many of my cousins live in Stoke, it’s where my parents came from. My cousin Bill, who was closer than my brothers when we were young, is a Port Vale* supporter who goes to Stoke when Vale are too far away. He says that “Arnie” just grew p****d off with the manager and his tactics, too concentrated on not losing and too many old players around him. He reckons Shaquiri will be next to go. Arnie seems to have found a good fit at your club as well. Our Bill also says he had a good laugh, as a Vale fan, watching MoTD2 and the Stoke fans barracking and throwing stuff at Arnie.
*the most famous Vale supporter is Robbie Williams of course. His granddad was related to my dad. In their original non-League days, Vale had one of my Gt2 Uncles in goal. That’s because the original ground was in Burslem, the “Mother Town” of the Potteries. My Gt2, Gt1 and granddad, all born there, down in the smoke from the pottery kilns. All Vale supporters.
A Football History lesson! What next?

Saying that I really liked the last film that was a spin-off/side sorry. And it was shot more in the true spirit of the originals, more rough shot and cheese. this last movie is also id say closer to the original 3 than the other 4 after was.
That’s the last 4 in the series not counting obviously this one, and the one before it, that was a side story. Even trying to discuss what ep is what is a pita with SW.
I’ve lost count now, but without giving away spoilers I think this story arch should be buried now. The SW universe is vast, why tether yourself to some branch.
One Strange thing, hardly a spoiler as it’s in the opening statement, the Empire has rebranded its self. it’s no longer the Empire. Though I’ve forgotten en already their new name. One nation or something.
I couldn’t help think of the Syrian patriotic rebels that we soon rebranded as Isis, once Putin informed the world we were supporting the illegal side, an illegal coup. We backtracked on the rebel “help” news, the BBC dropped the story, for it to be relaunched Isis just a few months later.
Probably shows how engaging the first hour of the film was. However, the ending is good. Anyone that has seen it, could you explain the pair of the die at the end?
I’ll google it, just in case it’s some spoiler.
Nothing to spoil, all the gossip film sites are just taking of the history of them .no mention that happens to them.
