      Next new Samsung 360º lappy:

Only a 13.3″ screen, which might put it beyond my peepers unless I hook it up to my elderly but still potent Iiyama 24″ monitor, (1920 x 1280, same as lappy). I will be watching for this after Chrimbo.

      It’s the dog’s danglers!

It’s nice but I’ll stick with my Android compatible Chromebook.

Hardly use my X220 anymore apart from DVD/CD ripping.

No, don’t fancy a Chromebook. Don’t use or like Chrome, Hdd too small, screen even smaller than the Sammy. I want a desktop replacement but not some of the uses of a desktop. My old self-build is long in the tooth now but it’s been really under used for some time. Like having turned a Testarossa into a Pickup!

I do not think it offers anything over the 2-in-1  detachable Lenovo laptop that my wife uses. In fact it probably offers less, as you cannot lose the weight of the cased keyboard.

If I was going to spend real money, id still by the xps13. But I love the ThinkPad keyboard and nipple, so I use that for work, and the CB to play. Chrome os is so much better than windows.

I think I’ll get a shiny new CB next year, some with Android app compatibility. That may mostly stop my window addiction.well depending on how the office works on it. The free version of office online works on CB but it’s just not there yet. Or wasn’t a year ago.
