Robert Mugabe resigned as president of Zimbabwe at 3.30pm local time today .. He and his dear wife Grace are believed to have boarded an Easyjet flight bound for Bradford, West Yorkshire, where they hope to be accepted into polite society. As a token of the esteem in which they hold their new neighbours, they propose to adapt their name to something more in keeping with Yorkshire. Henceforth they will be known as Mr and Mrs Ee ba gum.
