Although most of the matches require high doses of caffeine there playing again tonight, Kick of 5pm, ITV. Mind you they may do well tonight now there through. They seem to be “well to me” useless when something is riding on it, or boring. But when you have manager who is as dull as dish water with the personality of dodo what else can you expect. I can not bide the guy hence not shouting to much about Manu but “Moron” Mourinho may be a good choice if possible, not 100% sure on the whole rules of the thing.

Also can some one tell Hart he his not Rocky and to stop dancing about like a wally in the tunnel! Please ?

They often play better away from home, except when taking part in a Tournament. They certainly cannot be any worse than against Slovenia (can they?)

Joe Hart not starting in goal tonight (often goes missing when he’s picked anyway) being replaced by Jack Butland, a good bit younger and a better ‘keeper IMHO, although just had almost 12 months out injured. He is certainly better at lower corner shots than Hart, who should maybe have gone to Specsavers and confirmed what we suspect.

Southgate may be a miserable sod, but so was Alf Ramsey. Best two since Sir Alf: Sir Bobby Robson and Terry Venables – they were happy guys right up to the games that got them sacked. I don’t care if they are happy or miserable, I just want them to motivate the buggas!

We’re doomed of course. Qualify, get to the Finals, DDL, get booed, go home.

I liked Glenn hoddle in the big seat, but that didn’t end too well.

I won’t be watching hinge tonight, watching liverpool play fell yet fail is hard enough, so I not gonna watch England limp along in the most boring way possible.

I hope he does well, as no doubt I’ll be sucked in at the tournament. But I’ll watch the majority of the games regardless of if eng is their or not.

USA 94 was a great great tournament, ROI was great. Hopefully Wales make it this time round.

Well, all I can say is never cook your mash for a shepherds pie while watching England or you may fall asleep, let your pan boil dry and burn the hell out of it. Not saying I did that ?

I actually put it on in the background last night, while playing airport ceo (great BTW). All I can say is, if that is what we have to offer, we may as well give up now and spare them the humiliation.

Had it on while listing and packing stuff for eBay, not surprised or bothered, they endless cycle of qualify/fail/qualify/fail left me cold a while back (I was a regular home and awayer back in the day)….when they kept Hodgson after Brazil confirmed the FA cares about the FA and not the England Team. Zzzzzzzzzz.
