      Hi guys.

I’ve ran into a real annoying problem and that is my new gfx card is generating electromagnetic interference.

My sound card loves it, but I really do not want to here the driver telling who to do what and when.

So I moved the sound card to slot 3 and its perfect/no sound probs but the sound card then sits 4 mm from the fan.

I  then decided to give the sound card a LEAD sheild.

I put the sound card back into slot one and the same electromagnetic interfearance.

      The LEAD did not work.

What say you to remedy this: RMA the gfx card, install windows again, do the drivers again, or stick with slot 3????

      🙂

Hi Dave. I forgot that pci-e X16 also does pci-e X1, so I popped the sound card into my send gfx bus and all well. 🙂
