As the title, until the daft small hours of Monday morning.

      Here it is.

All I need now is Quadrophenia……

Always loved The Who, not just for their music but their absolute lunacy, don’t think there was ever another band in which every member demonstrated some form of idiocy. Creative, but each bonkers in their own way. Of all the “Rock Operas” that emerged from the 60’s and 70’s, “Tommy” and “Quadrophenia” were so different. Whoever chose the cast of Tommy and their roles, was either a genius or a certifiable lunatic.

Besides the band, the following: Ann-Margaret, Elton John, Jack Richardson, Tina Turner, Eric Clapton, Robert Powell, Paul Nicholas. Not forgetting the guy who was REALLY detached from reality – Oliver Reed, who played a great part. Many more of course, but keeping tabs on that lot must have been a real problem.

Thanks for that, Nolan. Watching it tonight. Quadrophenia should follow that soon, BBC is nothing if not predictatble.

When the Thought Police arrive at your door, think -
        I'm out.

I’ve loved The Who since I first heard them, mum told me I was about 4 and 5.15 came on the radio.

Roger Daltrey has a place about 2 miles from me, as you can imagine the houses aren’t cheap. I was at a freind of my mum’s who’s house is 2 away from Rogers place, fixing Windows when the man himself knocked on the door to borrow a brush! (He’d just moved in ) Really nice bloke.
